Thanks Dan, so you just have one 3/8 bolt holding the plate to the mounting bracket? Also, is the bracket welded to the top and outside of the frame? Kind've hard to tell from the pictures.

I used angel iron for the rear, Motor tabs for the front. And you will need a lateral engine limiter inless you mount your trans solid, And that is not a good idea because of frame flex

Thank you Bob. I was over engineering them, by envisioning brackets that were more complicated. Simple is GREAT! I did have the lateral engine limiters sent as well. Hope to be working on plates this weekend as I got the dash wiring finished last night!

Do you want the block level front to back, or a slight rear tilt or does it matter? Also, I know you want to move it forward, but is there an advantage/disadvantage to dropping it a few inches?

Alan,
Remember for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
couldn't find it if it was answered in a previous post but what would be the ideal orientation of the motor in relation to the frame?? its goin in a 2-wheel drive so moving the engine forward isn't as much of a concern, just wonderin what angle it should be, if any.
The driveshaft angle and the oilpan clearance will the determining factors. The motor won't be level both with wheels on the ground or wheels up anyway. Just make sure it's deepsump pan with the pickup way in the bottom of it.
