Well I got to pick up ShaZam yesterday from the Body Shop where she was Repainted. I took some pictures of her but my Digital Camera can't tell it's Purple Peril,It makes it look Blue. Pretty Blue but still blue.
Here's ShaZam in the shop last night.
Here's one out side in the sun this Morning.
Here's a picture of my New hand Throttle

The Arm rest is off and office chair my buddy had in his shop.
And the cable is out of Jeg's catalog Part # 555-15704 $39.99 4' push pull cable.
Then had to get some of the goodies to go with it. 555-15730, 555-15732, 555-15735, 555-15736, 555-15733
All together there about $145.00 tight up in the hand throttle. Nice upgrade. What you can't see really good is my Art Carr Gated Cable shifter I got from a guy on the 460.com message board.
Nice looking paint job! I want to see a pic. with the hood open.I like the automatic ratchet shifter. What is it? B&M

I think he has something new on his truck that he wants us to find. Is it different tires?

Alan that is a profab gear and probably not lost, just looking for a friend. What I am curious about is what appears to be a mermaid on the glovebox??

TA, I can see where that is shaped like a mermaid. I downloaded the picture and zoomed on on that area, but the resolution wasn't good enough to make it out even after sharpening the object.
Dan will have to fill us in on that one.
OK what looks like a mermaid on the glove box is really the glue they used to hold on the fake wood grain XLT trim back in the day. The gear on the floor is the next gear down from what's in the profab incase I change my mind in the staging area. I'll be getting a better system for the gears in the cab this season.

NOS? Trans brake? Remote start for playback tach???????
That's wide open switch for the hidden nitrous system.

I saw that Dan but figured it was an adjustable throttle stop or something.

It could be the starter button. Looks like at least one wire is going up to it. Or a momentary button so you can turn the hydro pump on and off as needed.
Well I found after I put the hand throttle in that I needed a third hand in order to get ShaZam fired up. I have a oil pressure kill switch that shuts the motor off if the pressure drops below 40 psi. but I have a bypass switch located on the dash to help in getting it started when it below that point.
So I use to Pump the gas with my foot Hit the start button on the fuse panel on the right side of the dash, get it spinning and then push the bypass button located on the left side of the dash and ShaZam would fire up. Now with the hand throttle I needed a third hand to work the hand throttle cuz I pulled the foot peddel out completely. So my solution was to move the starter button to the hand throttle to ease in the firing of ShaZam.
But I can hear all the guys at the pulls saying ya he's must have NOS on it.
Is this just for fun, or does it actually help with bouncing foot syndrome??? LOL
Seriously, is that why a hand throttle is used? any other reason??

the hand throttle has a better ratio, so you can control the throttle with a lot more detail if you will. With your foot your pretty much idle or wide open or close to where you want to be. With the hand, so can hold any rpm you want. And when you set it up, I THINK you are a little more confident that it is wide open. And when it is, you can feel that it is staying there.
Yes it's suppose to end the bouncing foot syndrome.
But it's really for better throttle control where you can lock the throttle at any point with just resting your arm on the arm rest. once the truck gets hooked then it's hammer down.
