we ran a couple sets, seemed to do well on more loose tracks than on really hard ones, we have since switched to the Trxus STS but they should definitely be an improvement over the swampers

I use a set on tracks where we're allowed to cut the tires. If you back cut them there pretty kick ass.

The claws im getting have some road miles on them , and they almost look like they have been back cut! I guess from cupping on the road. They sure look good, but looks doesnt always mean good!!!!!

I just went to see my claws...and they are IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!!! They are the 15.50 width.

My question is what width rims should I run, and what offset? I was thinking a 2.5" negative offset in front? Does this sound right? Rules say: Outside edge of the narrow axle must overlap the centerline of the tire on the wide axle by at least 1".....

Input please...

OK there's two rules of thinking when it comes to tracking.

1.If you go half track you have the rears getting half a good track of ground to grip to.
2. Stay straight tracking so the rears have good ground after the fronts clear the way for the rears.

You mean the rears will be ok cutting through softer material??? Less traction right?

Would I be better off buying wheel spacers....Then I could try it both ways very easily...

we've ran the claws on our not so stock truck and we broke alot of u-joints (they were'nt the good ones) but other then that they worked pretty damn good. To desiel if you our goin to run 15.50 i would suggest at least a 14 wide wheel in our so called mod class we are limited to a 31x15.50-15 ag bar tire (dont ask) and thats what we always got i think they were bart wheels and there were chrome pretty good lookin also

I ran a set of 35x15.50's last year, offset on the the rear they didnt work that good on hard tracks and they seem to dig down too much on the soft tracks.I did much better with the swampers.
