my question is, will a ford married np 205, bolt to a sm 465 with the chevy np 205 adapter? i found an adapter for a married chevy 205 to an sm 465! is it the same bolt pattern? i think the 205s are identical besides the yokes being on different sides, but not sure about the bolt pattern lining up! any info would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
The adapter may bolt up but I don't think the chevy tranny will work with the ford transfer. The chevy setup uses some kind of splined sleeve between the tranny and transfer and the ford setup doesn't use a sleeve. The tranny output shaft goes right into the transfer case.
