run in clear

hey guys finaly got my truck painted but got some big runs in the last coat of clear. u guys have any idies how to get them out?

Sand paper

Your only option is to sand them out. When it's still wet you can take a piece of tape and get most of it off, but you still have to sand. If you use like 1000 grit, you might be able to get the clear coat smooth enough to re-shoot.

If you're real careful and it's not real severe you can block it with ultrafine and go back over it with a buffer. If you break through the clear... you'll need to reshoot it.

I've seen guys on tv take a razor blade to the run and knock it down and then do a final wetsand fine grit to blend it in.

Yeah, I saw that episode with the razor blade too. The straight edge keeps you from cutting too deep. Kinda like a jig.
