Is there such a thing as insurance on high dollar race type vehicles...? You know, in case a new hole appears in the block and stuff?

i guess anything is possible. You can insure a tractor against damage, and stars can insure their body parts, question will be is the cost of insurance going to be less then the repair should you have to make it.

Yes you can insure the race vehicle and trailer etc for fire and theft, but I am not aware of any insurance you can buy that covers you while racing or against broken parts.
I used to be the insurance rep for our association and even that insurance only covers you while in the pits against accidental perils, but once on the track, your on your own.
Then the only coverage was if you blew up and a peice flew and hurt someone.
