I guess these are kinda hard to find...I was at the National Street Rod show in Pueblo yesterday, and wrote down the Mooneyes...name so I could look it up later. These are really nice, but seem to be pressurized?
If you want a 3/8", Mooneyes will custom make you one. But they get expensive. Here is what I run, im pretty sure there is enough material there for you to drill and tap new threads for a 3/8th. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/2530,419_Spun-Aluminum-Tanks.html

I got my tank from http://www.coyote-gear.com/menu.html
If you look at the bottom of the tank pages under options, you'll see that you can get different size fittings.
the dash number on AN fittings is in 16ths...... a -8 is 8/16.... get out your calculator folks..... that's 1/2 inch....... -6 is 3/8....... not to mention flow is cumulative ...... so since the needle and seat is 1/8".... which would be an AN -2..... that means a -4 would be sufficient, but due to routing of hoses and narrowing of the passageway in tight corners a -6 is generally used. as far as the moon tank being too small, buy a weldable bung, and weld it to the tank....
mooneyes is one of the original spun aluminum tanks and their quality is second to none.... i have several, and they sure do take a beating and don't leak

Thanks for the reminder Sean.
I second the weldable bung over a threaded one because of the thin walls on these tanks. I'm sure Mooneyes tanks are good pieces, but the Coyote tanks are 1/2 the price of the Mooneyes and can be spec'd with any size fitting you want welded on.
Seriously though...I promise not to respond to any more posts unless it is all on the up-side.

Alan.........is it the 10 or the 12" diameter? Sorry to keep bugging you! Gonna put it in the bed for now, but I don't want it to be so big that it wouldn't look right if I ever decide to move up a class and mount it on the front.

I got the 10" 5 gallon tank. Just a word of advice. when you order the tank, let them weld on any bungs you might need. It'll be cheaper for you (unless you can weld aluminum).
