Looks like we're goin' pullin' on Wednesday. I threw the old 360 I had in the corner of the POS Cave together... All used gaskets (yep even the head gaskets)and a tube and a half of Ultra Black silicone, Put in the Comp 292h cam,high volume oil pump,and big oil pan from the 390 and it runs pretty darn good.
It smokes a bit on the right bank but we'll call that Mosquito Control. LOL. It free revs 7000 clean rpm easily, but doesn't have the "pop" in the exhaust like the 390 had due to the anemic 7.5 compression ratio. Ray, go ahead and say it...TURD !! LOL. Well I'm happy now that I'm back in the game. I'll let Y'all know what happens Wednesday.

In our experience - those "TURD" motors tend to live and outperform any expectations - usually cuz you dont care and run it harder than you otherwise would.

3 and 7 goes away..... FE have plenty of volume without high volume pumps..... at least from my experience
