Thanks Walter, got any idea of payout. Not that I'm planning on getting in the money, but is the shot worth me coming down 3-1/2 hours? I'll probably see you at Montgomery. Promised the Mrs. I'd take her to her family's reunion on Labor day weekend so Saline City is out for me. Also fyi, check the schedule, Monrovia was canceled.
1=400 2=300 3=200 4=100 5=50 off of paper sent to me

I'm planning on taking a 1/2 day Vacation to make Montgomery and another 1/2 day to make Lanesville. Is it a KOTTPA sanctioned hook or all brush?
Who else is going to Lanesville?

It is a KTPA sanctioned pull with our class as an add on, no membership fees (just hook fee). Normaly the truck count for our class is in the low 20's to low 30's fuel may cut the numbers. Walt

Can u run after market chevy heads in the 2 pro class
Mapquest has me coming into Lanesville on 62 from I65. Where is the pull track from there?
We got rained out at Montgomery last night, and I can't make the reschedule on Saturday, so I'm trying to work it out to come to Lanesville on Friday, then I'm trying to decide if I'll go to Daleville or Brazil on the 13th.
We went to Brazil last year and it's a nice pull, but if I go to Daleville, I'll get to run against some DCTPA trucks so I'd get to see how Horsin stacks up against 516 ci iron/iron trucks with double pumpers.

Cool, thanks Walter, Are you guys going to be there? I was looking on KOTTPA's website and saw you guys have another pull that night.
Are you going to Montgomery tomorrow? Rick has been trying to talk me into coming down. I told him I spent over $200 in fuel last night for nothing, don't know if I want to spend that much again tomorrow, then again next week to attend Lanesville.

We were almost to Shoals when Rick called. I told Rick if I come back tomorrow, I'll have to hook in another class just to make sure I can break even on the trip. Told him I'd unlock the front hubs and hook in 2 Pro. lol, all I need to do is bump the sled to finish in the money.

If your truck falls under ITPA super stock, KOTTPA pro street or ORVTPA stock II 4x4 rules your ok. Walt
What more can you tell me about Daleville or Brazil? Never heard of Daleville, does either have PS4? Lanesville is worth the trip, but I would advise arriving early if possible.

Re

Both are Brush pulls. I'll see what I can find out about Brazil. Last year they had PS4 and SS4, ITPA rules but no tech since it is a brush pull.
Just hung up from talking with the rep at Daleville, and they will have OEM stock 4x4, Sm Blk gas 4x4, BB gas 4x4, Work Stock Diesel 4x4, Street Diesel, Open Diesel.
Payouts are as follows, Sm Blk $1100, BB $1100, WSD $600, Street $1300 and Open $1900. Rules follow DCTPA, But ITPA SS4 will be allowed. All classes pay back 5 places.

You coming up Last Minute?
Hey Walt, how'd you guy's do Saturday? I havent gotten the results from the secretary yet. I was going to come down, but with the way things are at work right now, I figured I better not spend another $200 to drive down, knowing that I was planning to come down this weekend too.

Not good, first hook was where you needed to be it was one of those tracks that went away so you probably made the right decision, Oh well you got to take the good with the bad and move on, we will try again at Lanesville hope to see you there. Come on down or up last minute we will be glad to have you, where are you from? Walt

You know I had a feeling about that track. They put 12,000 gallons of water on the track Wednesday then had rain Thursday, so I didn't figure it would be very good on Saturday. Last year, I thought it was a pretty good track so it's too bad that it wasn't so good this year. But such is life.

I dunno yet. We really dont fit any of the rules completely to be honest. If we can make do you think that they might let a few things slide.
It really runs the best with the 3 stages of NOS. ha ha
Our front to rear tracking is not within rules and a few small things. Not enough stuff to make up against the ponies you guys are making I just think it might be fun

Walt will jump in here as he I'm sure can answer your questions. What are the differences besides tire track? Since this technically is a non sanctioned class, I can't see where they would be hard and fast to the rules. But, I've been wrong before.
I'm hoping they'll let me run with the new 540ci blown alcohol motor. LOL

What is your offset? And what are the other items? What rules do you run by? I’m sure if they are small infractions the guys will work with you. Let me know and I will get an answer for you. Where are you coming from? I know you said 3 hours away. Walt

Last minute, your offset will not be a problem as long as it is not a full offset, 35” tires are ok, our trucks are gutted, bed is covered so I don’t see a problem with yours, I have read your rules and I don’t see anything that raises a red flag. I have also spoke with the guy that runs the show. If you are still interested in coming give me your phone number and I will keep you posted on rain and or cancellation, we will be glad to have you and I know you will enjoy yourself. If you don’t want to post your number my email is walters@chesterpools.com Walt

So does this mean my new 5.40ci blown alcohol Briggs & Stratton is good to go?
Hey Walt you've got my cell number so please keep me informed on rain/cancellations. I'm currently planning on leaving here around 1pm, so that should put me down there well before 5pm.
I'm trying to find some ancient native rain away dance so I can get a pulling fix this weekend. lol

Alan, now is that 5.40 cid or 540 cid and I thought you were on nitro, you know I have the unknown cubic inch weed eater motor and it runs on a special recipe, yes I will keep you informed on the pull and I know you are having pulling DT’s so I will do the no rain jig for you. Walt

This .540 blown motor is bad news, and it is on Nitro-methane. I built it all new over the summer to hang with the weed eater motor of yours.
