Ok, sound off, who's entering the ITPA 470 Super Stock class on Thursday evening? So far I'm in for it. But it's not looking like I'll be able to get into the 530 class on Friday. Apparently there is a limit of 20 per class.

Ya I heard that too but if you go back and look at the last two years. We only had 18 trucks in 530 Super stock in 2007 and only 10 trucks in 2008.

There might be room for ya in 530 super .. they're just waiting to see if any more 530 trucks enter.. it's the same with the 650 mod class for me, I entered but I won't be put on the rooster till the last day after all the real 650 mod trucks have entered.

I think Klint will make two 15 truck classes if we where to get 30 trucks for one of the classes. like they did in the 2007 when they had 38 Pro Street Trucks.

Alan did you send in the app. for both classes already.

Well Cory I was using the two classes of 15 as a Hypothetical situation. they did back in 2007 with Pro Street. and yes they had a final with the top 5 truck from both classes.

Re

The paperwork is filled out, but I haven't sent it in yet. We were told here at work that we have to take 4 days off without pay and they will short 4 paychecks in February and March 1 day each check, so it's been kind've hard to send in $150 or even $300 to pull. Don't like it, but at least I still have a job. (So far)

Anyone out there want to sponsor my entry fee? LOL

Good Luck

February 10 2009, 4:45 PM

Alan good luck in the 470 class against John Tritz. That truck runs great all the time, he won our points like four years in a row with Badger Truck Pullers. It is an 88 Chevy that is bright yellow with black flames on the front, calls it Just In Time. Good luck to everyone else also.

Dang it Hollywood you weren't supposed to spill the beans about the second briggs, now Dan won't pull those 2 plug wires for me. LOL

Actually the only reason I'm running in the 530 class is a certain sponsor paid the entry fee. That and I'm curious as to how our little 470's compare to the 530's. I don't expect to win, but it will be a neat experiment.

Alan, yes he sat out with us this past year, some stuff went down with him and his team and sponsors against the club so they didn't show this year. He ran with Fantasy and won the light class down there and took third in the heavy class. It will be nice to see how John stacks up against you Indiana boys, since I know how mine ran against his. Hopefully it warms up here soon, starting to get the itch again.

2wd class

February 17 2009, 8:57 AM

Just received this from Klint.

"We have had our Feb. meeting and we have decided to allow all ITPA trucks run in the Pro Stock TWD class. We will just have to work out the differences among the two groups. Weight, drawbar, etc. If you guys want to work out the differences all ITPA trucks are welcome. Let me know if you guys are still interested."
