I guess I'm coming to Cloverdale and bringing my truck. I'll be entered in 2 different classes. This will give me 4 pit passes, and i believe i'm in need of only 1, so i have 3 up for grabs. They are free for the taking, just let me know who wants them.

Funny thing... his pickup will have to ride with two tractors to get there. I know my parents and my brother had a great time at Gordyville (other than the temperature!), so they are looking forward to another trip back east. Who knows? It could happen more!

it'll be a tight fit glen

February 3 2009, 2:29 PM

pry have to fold one of them in half, but we'll make em fit. Greg told me i might not have to ride in the truck for 1200 miles...... i hear you're interested in going along too..... i have to say.... i'll miss the stories from your dad, but i'm sure we'll find something to talk about.

Flights from Denver to Indy are pretty cheap on Frontier. About $150 rountrip per person. I'm looking at my schedule to see what I can do-may even take the kids with me. I'd like to go, but it would be for Friday and Saturday only.

Sounds like a Reddog reunion in the makings here! We've got folks coming from the East and West, and I believe we're gonna have some boys coming up from Kentucky and Tennessee. Hey maybe we can get them boys to bring up some white lightning, LOL. Uncle Jesse says it burns real good in the truck. LOL

Frosty/Sean...
The kids and I are going to use Greg's pit passes since he has 4. We'll be there for Friday's and Saturday's events.

Sounds like its going to be a great time. It will be fun to meet the people who we've met on this site.

Re: well, pit passes anyone?

February 4 2009, 2:16 PM

I am staying in Plainfield, about 30 miles away. Its near the Indianapolis airport (since we are flying in and I'll have a rental car).

In Cloverdale, there are the following hotels:
Days Inn - $60 one bed, $70 two beds
Holiday Inn Express - sold out
Super 8 - sold out
Motel 6 - sold out

Plainfield has a lot of hotels and none of them showed up as sold out. However, rates range from $90 - $120 there.

If you need help with rooms, I could see what I can do. Just let me know.
Thanks.
Glen

Guys, I just booked a room at the Days Inn Cloverdale through Ramada.com for $48/night for a room with 2 double beds. A King was $52. (Both rates were plus tax)

"Alan what day's are you coming down (and or) are you staying in Cloverdale or are you driving to and from the house? We are driving back to the house each day. Is anybody else from ITPA coming? Walt"

I'm planning to get there late morning on the 12th, and will have to head back after the Friday evening pull. I'd like to stay until Saturday morning, but I have a prior commitment on Saturday. I'm sure Rick will be there as it is just down the road from his place. I know of at least 1 2 wheeler that's coming but that's all the "for sure's" I know of. I talked with Buck the other night, and he might come down if he get's his front end fixed.

Alan,

Alex and Kyle have signed up and so has Larry. And You know Jake will bring at least 2 trucks maybe more. I kinda wondered if Nick had his back together or not. Why dont you call Stefonaskaposkopi (whatever) and invite him so the class will be fuller.
