what brand of gears have you had the best luck with will be for a 14 bolt rear i was thinking of yukon

Honestly, for the price......I'd buy a whole rear end at a junkyard for say 100.00. You'll get axles, gears, yokes, and more.

Trust me, the twenty/thirty year old used stuff will last just as long.
