My Wife told me the other day I should Trade in my Old 1989 Ford F150 4x4 snowplow truck for some thing more fuel efficient on the cash for clunker deal. So I went to local Ford dealership here and was looking to build a 2010 Ford Focus Ses Seeing they sold all there cars off the lot with the first wave of this deal. So with another 2 billon dollars added I was going to cash in on this new American deal.

Here what I came home with an't it Sweet.


Now no it didn't fall into the cash for clunker guide lines, it only get 19 mph avg. But once I test drove this baby it was coming home with me. And my Wife loves it.
So now I'm taking that old pick um up truck and going to use it on a 2009 VW Bug for the wife that she's been looking at for the last year or so.

I'll shack the hell out of my money tree out back, But it'll be worth it in the end.

nice car dan...wuts size mill is in it??my 99 mustang has a 4.6 w a 5 sp and it gets about 23mpg on the highway but its superchargedand got a bunch of other stuff into it so maybe that will be your next upgrade??:)i'll let u know tomorrow whos in iron river..

awesome, but its very sad what they do to the cars they get traded in on those deals. They drain the oil and then put in a fluid and fire the engine up and the fluid locks up the engine. I saw them do a nice mercedes on the news the other day it was kinda sad...

Well Billy you'll be glad to know I still have my 89 plow truck. Nothing was traded in on this deal.

Jordan. It has the 4.6 5 speed. wife seen me looked in the jag's catalog yesterday, I was looking at the super charger kit. 6495.00 Think I'll wait a week or so before hopping it up.
