What do you gents thing about running a lighter weight oil or a synthetic oil in the pigs, tcase and tranny? Is there an advantage? For what we do, do we really need to run 80/90?

yes synthetic does make a difference, i run the motorcraft 75/140 in all my cases and i dont fill them all the way up just enough to splash coat the gears.you dont need them full cause the large amount in the cases are designed for cooling and we dont need that.we tried running atf and found that under high pressure it wont lubricate well enough and will gaul bearings a gear teeth.
