steering. setup

First sorry i missed ur one chance but as soon as im ready ill get a pic and fill u in.
Im getting close, now thinking on my steering is it ok that i just run power steering or should i be looking into setting up electric hydraulic ? Is there a big diff?.

Power steering eats horse power, hyd steering doesnt use any, but needs two batteries that need to be recharged every couple of pulls. On my pulling truck im just strong armin it lol, no power or hyd steering.

I would imagine if you are under power you have no problem steering. Getting on and off the track would be a bear.

how much power does the factory steering robb? is there an average?and does it robb all the time or just when you are trying to steer?

Anything hooked to motor is robbing hp. It all adds up so the less u put on the less u rob. I ended up with nothing hooked to rob my power. U pay big to get the power no sense on letting it go. I cant remember exactly sorry.
