I run a standard twin disk clutch with 6 weights on each finger total of 18 weights all together. it worked great last year for me but after adding some horsepower over winter the clutch itself it wants to start engaging at 6400 to 6800 rpm when I want to leave no softer than 7300 rpm I am going to take off 2 weights per finger before this weekends pull? Has anyone ever had this issue if so how many weights are you running? Thank you for reading

It all depends on how the clutch is setup. If you run more squash (that's a technical term) the weights will affect it more. If you have all those weights on there and can get it to come out that high then the clutch must be setup kind of loose. I have run those clutches with no weights on the fingers. Pull two per finger (6 total) and try it.
