Carpet Tile Revisited

Sorry I'm bringing this subject up again, but now I have 2 good size buildings that have BRAND NEW carpet tile installed that I'm bidding on. I will get the name of the manufacturer.

However, I would imagine that certain one's don't allow the use of a rotary machine. Would the Cimex be considered a rotary machine? What about an OP machine.

These warranties probably would not say not to use a planetary scrubber or an oscillating pad machine. So would this still void the warranty if they did not specifically include these machines?

As a side not, I think that those warranties are a joke. I was looking at one of their brochures for recommended equipment to use. It looked like an equipment catalog, with the picture and description of a specific brand of equipment. I wonder how those companies got there equipment in that brochure?

One item I saw was the Whitaker GLS, as if that's the only crb in the world. Also, wouldn't a crb be more likely to lift those carpet tiles anyway? Seems all over the place!

A Cimex will never detach any carpet tile. A rotary machine can certainly dislodge a loose tile and turn it into a Frisbee. But the planetary design of the Cimex simply will not affect even a loose/unglued carpet tile - the Cimex will just float right over it

Our largest account is all carpet tile. Been doing it for over 2 years with the Mex. No problems.

I appreciate it guys. If it ever comes up, I will know what to say.

One building that has carpet tile is a residential high rise with very fancy, bright carpet that needs encap to stay nice. It will get dull in no time if they wanted hwe only.

They haven't gotten into any of these details, but I just wanted to be ready.

Thanks.
