You don't have to have seen the show to understand what the concept is. That's the job of advertising. The marketing teams at Fox wanted put together commercials, print ads and press releases, revealing what the show is about, and we have every right to base our opinions on what we've seen thus far.

As far as protesting other shows, well...I just didn't feel as passionate about them as I do about this one. I am an adoptive mother and to me, that comes first. That doesn't mean that I think they're right, but I think that this show is going to cause much damage to something I am a part of and hold close to my heart.

I am all for opening adoption records and support any adoptee who is in search of their birthparents/firstparents and vice versa. Open adoption is becoming more and more popular and I promote it every chance I get. The proposed Fox show is NOT the appropriate forum to reunite members of the adoption triad. It's degrading, it's insulting and I am NOT going to watch it.
