Although I haven't taken the time to read your previous posts, Karie, I appreciated your last post and the first hand information which you provided. I know that the show Who's Your Daddy? has caused emotions to run high on both sides of the fence and it is not always easy to know where to go to forge a protest or express strong opinions so it would make sense for many people to come to places like this board and complain to anyone who is involved with this show.
Yes, this is a board intended to support Finola, but it is a message board nonetheless, and if people are so turned off with a project they should be able to express their opinions here. I, too, am not a fan of this show. I find it in poor taste and just another indication of why television is so bad these days. I, also believe that much more good could come of Fox's "good intentions" with regards to this show if they would lessen the sleaze-factor, remove the money factor and focus more on the real basis of the show, which is the long-awaited reunion of an adopted woman and her biological father. Maybe then more people would would embrace it.
I have been a huge fan of Finola's for some 20 years now, but not even her association with this show could get me to tune in for more then the 10 mins I tuned in for last week. That was a sacrifice I will never make again. If at all possible, this show was even worse then I feared it could be. I do, however, look forward to future projects more worthy of her talent. In the meantime, shows like this will probably continue to attract all of the Jerry Springer fans who have nothing better to do in the evenings! Riveting television this is not, no matter how the spin is spun.
