This post goes out to all of the cool ladies who are friends with Finola and who I met in Dallas at the book signing. I was the woman from Houston who was procrastinating her drive home.
Let's see. Now I will demonstrate the sieve that masquerades as my brain: I remember the names of Aurora, Jamie (spelling? - sorry), Tina, and the rest of the names I either cannot recall or I could not hear over the elevator music that was battering my eardrum. I do feel that I should remember the name of the pretty, kind woman with a beautiful little boy sitting next to me whose hand I shook (hers not the little boy's), but it is escaping me. Anyway, for those whose names I can't remember, I do remember the faces -- I'm better with those. And thank you all for welcoming me. What funny, vivacious, gregarious people you are.
So, I have been lurking on the Finola Hughes websites for years now. If my math is on target, I have been a Finola fan for 17 years at this point in my life.
