Now Robin is my all time favorite character and while I love both her parents dearly, I don't think Anna and Robert are soulmates. I think they will always love one another because of sharing a child, and they had an awesome adversarial relationship, not they were not soulmates.
I think that Duke was definitely Anna's soulmate and that if he had lived, she would not have remarried Robert in 1990.
