Robert/Anna on GH

I've been loving the Robert/Anna and Scorpio interaction the last few days. I know you're only back for a short time but I hope to see Robert/Anna grow closer this summer, and possibly have some sort of reconcilation, with Anna being forced to leave town for her next assignment. It would be cool to have her pop in and out of town between assignments, to be with Robert and their daughter.

It's nice to see Finola back on soaps, especially GH since it's my fav soap, even if she pops in and out, i'll take it i'm loving the Anna/Robert scenes. they have such energy and are funny too boot. I also love their scenes w/their daughter Robin and how they seem to be building the Scorpio family. I dont know where it will lead (Robert/Anna) hopefully a reunion of some sort but i'll take what i can get

I am just so happy to see Finola back on GH! Her chemistry with Tristan Rogers and with Kim is fantastic. I love seeing the Scorpio family back together. Yesterday's eppy was great. The chemistry that I saw between these two was so natural. It was as if they knew each other for along time.

They were flirting with each other, staring at each other as if they couldn't get enough of each other, and smiling so much. Lorenzo was smiling from his eyes at Anna. His whole face was smiling.

I think that these two are going to have fun this summer. I am really looking forward to the summer story.

Finola and Ted King

I have watched Finola Hughes since she first joined General Hospital way back when and then she went to All My Children and now she has the style show How Do I Look which I also enjoy and now she is back onto General Hospital.

I am so glad to see that she will be working with Ted King. I admit that I am a big fan of Ted King and I think that these two fine actors will work very well together.

I am so looking forward to this summer with this story of action and adventure and also Anna helping her daughter with her love life. That will be great to see some great bonding scenes. Like yesterday the scene in the diner with those two talking that was great.

Thank you Finola Hughes for coming back to General Hospital.

Great to have Fin back again on GH!

What a year 2006 has been (and will continue to be) for long-time fans of GH...It's been great to see all the vets back and especially you, Finola!

I want to thank you for being willing to add your GH appearances to your busy schedule. It is a treat to watch the legendary Anna Devane in action again!

The 7/3 scenes with Robert and Robin were particularly well done. The old love/hate byplay between Robert and Anna is still as fresh and real as ever. And, the pep talk scenes with Robin were just awesome too!

I said this before with your last appearance and I'll say it again now. You three are GREAT together on screen and you really bring out the best in each other - you can really see your respect and comradery together and it makes all your scenes light up.

Looking forward to seeing how Anna and Alcazar interact and how Robert and Skye factor in with it.

Keep up the good work!

PS. Oh yeah, and the final scene today with Robert and Anna walking on the docks and the kiss on the cheek - GREAT STUFF. It lasted all of 15 seconds total and no words were exchanged but you guys NAILED it in those few moments the whole of their relationship.

I saw your message asking if anyone has gotten tapes from me. I have filled an order for someone on this site, I can have her email you to let you know she has ordered and received tapes from me. She ordered from me in 2005. I have received many emails from others on this site that were interested in my tapes, some don't mention where they see my post so I don't know specifically if they saw my post on this site or another.
I do have references available, just let me know and I will have some of my previous customers email you to let you know they have ordered and received tapes from me.

I Like That Idea. I Really do! I actually had the same idea myself. It would be nice if Robert and Anna could've had another child. I really wish they could have.

It would be so easy for GH to explain a Devane/Scorpio son. Anna could have been pregnant with Robert's son when she was kidnapped by Faison in January 1992 and not even known it yet. A couple months later, at the time of the explosion, Anna was rendered unconscious. Who's to say Anna wasn't unconscious for many months before waking? Her Canadian caretaker Bart could have taken the child and adopted him out thinking Anna wouldn't wake from unconsciousness or wouldn't be able to care for an infant.

That's what I was thinking of course Anna was pregnant by Robert at the time of the explosion and didn't know yet. But That was one heck of a BIG explosion ... I guess she could have survived it without losing the child

Anna on General Hospital

I can see why fans would want Robert and Anna together, especially since I am a fan of this super couple myself. However, in the soap world in this era, what we have is GH, a show which is not quite the show it was back in the 80's, trying to find a way to make the character of Anna Devane vital and viable some 15 years later. Since Finola is back for a short period of time and apparently Tristan is back indefinitely, how would they make sense of bringing them together temporarily? It wouldn't be worth the heartbreak and let's face it, happy relationships are nothing but the kiss of death on soaps.

I say Anna will rock with Lorenzo, whether it be a business matter or a romantic relationship. This is just one more avenue for this character to explore during this summer return. I imagine there are plenty of actors on this show today who would kill to have so many options for their characters. Anna will have her battles with Robert, her bonding with Robin and her adventure or work-related stuff with Lorenzo. At least it sounds like it from what Ted King has recently said at his fan gathering! There's nothing worse then a character with nothing going on but being in a romantic relationship. That spells no air time and a dead end! I know that I haven't waited over a decade to see Anna Devane return to GH just to spend the time walking hand in hand with Robert! I want a heck of alot more then that!

It would be easier for me to accept Anna and Lorenzo together as long as "Robert and Anna's: Once in A Lifetime Love" is Never Forgotten ...an occasional Passionate Kiss and um wink More than That just because they can't fight their undying Love...even if she is with Lorenzo and Robert is with Hopefully not...Holly

But I honestly would really rather not have that. I'm stubborn I want Anna and Robert Together. I also do not want Robert and Holly together (I would rather have a Root Canal without any anesthesia every day for the rest of my life than that)

There is a such thing as "Long Distance Affairs" you don't have to see someone every day to have a romance and love affair with them.

WooHoo! Great news that you are coming back this summer. And now that Robert has moved in with the Quartermaines do you think they have an extra room for Anna? You and the former Commish under the same roof let alone in the same town for a few weeks would ignite a few fireworks.

Hmmm .... what brings Anna back to PC? Might she be looking for Luke and the 'real' jewels? Or will Anna needs some family bonding time like Robert?

Kudos to you Finola. You made GH watchable again even if it was for only a week. I loved your scenes with TR and KMc. What great chemistry. It's as though you haven't been away at all.

The Scorpios are such a great family with a rich history. I'm hoping TPTB have left the door open for your return. So please don't stay away for too long. Robin needs both her mother and father and I need to see Robert and Anna work their way back to each other again.

Thanks for giving us back Anna Devane. She is such a strong woman and that's what GH needs.

P.S. Loved seeing the Scorpios on Soaptalk. That was icing on the cake

Loved tonight episode of Charmed!!!!! Finola was awesome. I did get a tear in my eye at the end. I really don't know how much more I can take. Anna is off GH, the Charmed girls and their mom are gone forever, and Bill is still not in the White House again. But at least we still have Finola and fashion.

Loved the "How Do I Look?" line! I'm in a hotel in Chicago and happened to catch the final Charmed episode -- and was quite pleased to see so much of Patty.

BTW -- sorry I've been so out of touch!! Lots of computer issues/purchasing and moving into my condo/work. But I have very much enjoyed the Scorpio family reunion -- and am keeping my fingers crossed that there's more!!

Finola dear what can I say. That has not been said already. I mailed you a Welcome Back/Thank You for Coming Back card I do hope you got it.

General Hospital was just not the same with out the Kicka$$ Scorpio Family and I'm sorry but 2/3 Scorpio Family is just not enough...I'm sorry but You are just going to have to come back that's all there is to it.

You, Tristan, and Kimberly had me crying buckets the other day. I usually don't get THAT affected by TV and Movies. But somehow You and Tristan as Robert and Anna ( My ALL TIME FAVORITE COUPLE - Robert and Anna leave everybody else in all TV & Movies in the dust- in my opinion ) have ALWAYS managed to get to me.

Gloria Monty Dedicattion Episode

I noticed that they dedicated May 17th GH to Gloria Monty.
I just read now on SZ that the whodunit scenarios were a Gloria Monty trademark. Kudos to GH if this is what was behind Wednesday show. Its sad they waited so long to have a dedication but it's great that when they did finally have one that they did it using 5 of the best characters Gloia Monty created.

PS What am I going to do come Monday for my Anna Devane fix?

I was really pleased that they honored Gloria Monty at the end of a show that Finola appeared on! You're right, Tina, it was much more appropriate that the show pay tribute to her with a few of the greatest characters of all time then the tiny acknowledgment she was given at the Emmy's!

Love the nod to Anna's jewlery fencing past!

Anna has always been a very complex character and I give credit to the writers for touching on all facets of her this week. Loved how Anna was the one who stole the jewels and how Robin, who knows her mom all too well, figured out who it was. Also loved the flirtation between Anna and Luke - they would be a great romantic team what with Anna's penchant for bad boys.

My guess is that on the 5/19 Final Fin Friday episode, Anna goes BACK and lifts the jewels while the remaining Markum 4some is otherwise engaged. In short, Anna will win the prize!

The writing on the Markum storyline this week has been a real blast and GH scored BIG TIME with brining Fin into the mix.

Robin and Anna's goodbye was so sad

All week has been really great, but I totally lost it yesterday. When Anna and Robin were saying goodbye and Anna drew "Luv" in the palm of Robin's hand, I cried like baby.

I really hope GH brings Anna back to PC soon, because watching Robert/Anna/Robin were the best part of the show for me.

Fin, LOVED the 5/15 episode of GH

I've been enjoying GH since they brought back Rick, Kimberly, Emma, and Tristian, but I think I liked Anna's return today best of all. The judo stuff with Robert was great fun (loved it when Anna did the flip up move from when she was flat on her back LOL!) and the dialog with Luke and Holly was sharp and well-written. I totally cheered when Luke told Holly that Anna "packed a wallop!" YES!

Looking forward to the rest of the week and seeing the Scorpio family together and hashing out their issues as well as interacting with the rest of the characters in the storyline.

Great job - you have no idea how much long time GH fans are enjoying your return to the canvas. THANK YOU for arranging to come back!

PS. Internet rumors have it that perhaps they are trying to lure you back for a few more weeks this summer? Would love to see Robert call in Anna to help him take on Sonny's mafia in Port Charles and for Anna and Luke to get some screen time together. She always did have a thing for "bad boys" and I think and Anna/Luke pairing would be fascinating to watch!

Fin, Tristian, and Kim brought all their "A" games today...In the time allotted, their scenes together were all that any GH fan could have wished for. It was a great mix of soul-searching, sarcasm, honesty, and truth. Outside of Tony Geary's usual brillance, it has been a long time since the script and the acting on GH came together in such a profoundly moving way like it did today.

Fin my hat is off to you, Tristian, Kim, and the whole team behind your scenes together on 5/16 because it was amongst the best stuff I have watched on GH in 25 years.

There has been nothing better on this show since the last time Finola was on it! I agree with you about Tony Geary though, he is brilliant, all the time. Yesterday's scenes drained me, they were that good! Whoever heard of such a thing on GH???? Finola, Kimberly and Tristan proved once again that they are incredibly talented and have phenomenal chemistry! I applaud everyone involved with this episode and especially Mr. Guza.

I should not be so amazed after so many years of watching Finola, but I am! It just blows me away how this lady can steal the whole show with one scene! I just love the fact that when she enters a scene somehow all eyes are on her. Kelly Ripa once said that Finola steals the scene just by walking in the room, and it is so true! I love this gorgeous lady, her talent in everything she puts her hand to is such a gift to those of us who are lucky enough to be able to share it. I just wanted to say how much I LOVED seeing you on Friday's(5/12) GH. I hope they offer you a chance to come back real soon because I have missed Anna's character. I think you and Kimberly still have awesome chemistry and I loved the hug, I could really feel the warmth emoting from that scene.

I don't know when I have enjoyed an episode of GH as much as I did this past Friday and it was all because of you. I cannot tell how much I LOVED you cracking your neck before you drop kicked Robert. That was the best part of the show.

I have a five year old daughter that just loves to watch How do I look? We have our own fashion victims and everytime we go shopping she picks out fashion for her different victims.

She does very well with her own fashion, and always follows it up with so "How do I look?"

Great Job on GMA

Loved your Daytime Emmy report on GMA. Wish they had aired more of the interviews you did with Tony Geary and Ellen, would have loved to hear more of what they had to say.

I'm not sure when the Daytime Emmys began but I think they've been around for at least 35 years. So it's quite an accomplishment to be the ONLY actress to ever win an Emmy in the LEAD ACTRESS catagory for General Hospital! Go Finola!!!

GH Taping

Finola mentioned at the Daytime Emmy pre-show on Soapnet that she and KMc had started taping. She also mentioned May 12th - so tune in.

I also read in another post that TR mentioned Finola had started taping, but I will have to look back at my dvd to confirm.
Can't wait.

It was great to see Finola and Kimberley hanging out together at the Emmys, but just wished that she and TR had some interaction. Just a little preview of what's to come. Oh well, eventhough I'm a Robert and Anna fan, TR did look fabulous with Emma Samms.

I have heard that her stint is short-term, but I hope that she is open to extending i.e. if TPTB give the Scorpio's something worthwhile. TR stated that he is indefinite which is excellent but truthfully only time will tell.

Finola was wasted on All My Children!

I am a big Finola fan from the 80's on General Hospital. I didn't watch AMC before but gave it a shot to see Finola. THe character was strange and seemed to have no motivation. Then when "Anna" returned it seemd the writers weren't up to writing the great adventure stuff that General Hospital does so well. Stopped watching but I would have liked to see her with David Izzary. Thought it would be funny if she went to Port Charles to save her dead husband Duke from being killed by Erica. I was kind of laughing at Finola's post about Anna's wardrobe. I don't remember their being much of one. Just like black jackets and pants. I think Anna is too busy for fashion.

I don't think she was wasted

I don't think Finola was wasted at all on AMC. It was simply a job and as much as the show may have been a waste, Finola was always awesome on it. She, alone, made this show watchable because she somehow managed to turn scenes that made no sense into really riveting television. Too bad the rest of the show wasn't up to par!

Yeah, I would have liked them to have done more with her character and to have had Robin come back a few more times, but I don't think she was wasted.

I think AMC did a fabulous job with bringing Anna Devane back from the dead and I also think they did an awesome job reuniting Anna with her daughter. Both Kimberly and Finola had me crying buckets with their scenes.

I also loved the chemistry between Anna and Edmund, and I wish they would have developed that relationship a little more, but they still ended up putting Anna in another pairing. I have never been a fan of David Hayward's, but Anna made him somewhat likeable for me.

As much as I love GH, I think if Anna had made her resurrection on GH, I don't think we would have gotten half the focus AMC gave Finola. I am crossing my fingers and hoping GH does both Finola and Anna justice in May. I also hope that Finola and GH can work out something so Anna's brief return is either extended or left open so she can return many many times.
