Finola's Intimate Portrait on Lifetime

Read that Lifetime will be showing Finola's Intimate Portrait, but when I checked the website it is actually being shown on Lifetime Real Women. Now I'm bummed

Anyone out there get this channel or know where I can get a copy of the eppy? I only get the regular channel and Lifetime Movie Network. Sometimes having multi-channels is a pain.

I loved your part in the Staying Alive, I so wanted you to change for John Travolta and end up with him. I think you are an exceptionally great actress and wished you starred in more movies or at least some "Life Time movies." I have not watched soap operas in a long time. I know you play an excellent part, I wished they would write some scripts that would make you a nice sweet person like I know you are! For now I just watch the movies I can with you in them. Sarah, what a beautiful video. It really brought back a lot of memories. Robin was so/is perfect as her daughter. I think GH didn't know what they had......the fans did though.
I am going back to watch GH just to watch the old cast....it is so refreshing!

What you have done for people is just so neat. Question. Yesterday, 4-12-06, you helped a young lady who had had scoliosis and it was still very real to her. Your understanding and caring and her reaction made for a great show. I know it can be hard to deal will illnesses but have you thought how much fun it would be to do this with some handicapped so they can feel like they are still worthwhile and lovely/handsome.
I have post polio and am not as bad as many but I think of them watching and wishing, fit, style and feeling good about themselves. I used to be an amateur model and I LOVE CLOTHES but now have trouble wondering how I look and what I can wear. This is a big subject and won't address it all here....just a thought for our friends who have either grown up with this or have developed a problem over the years. Can you imagine the feelings that can be shared and the desire to try?

General Hospital

Is it true that General Hospital will be return all the old cast. I saw on The View the other day that you and a few others will be returning to GH. I am no longer a fan of the show since you and Robert have left the show and recently saw Anthony Geary on the View and said that the old cast will be returning. Now this might be a old show I am not sure but I do know that I did see Robert Scorpio back on the show. This will definitely make me watch it again if you return to the show. I also had no idea that you played Anna Devane on All My CHildren. I haven't watch day time soaps in quite awhile so I need to be updated. Thanks

Girl, you have some catching up to do!

TPTB at GH are trying to revive the show. So, they have been bringing back characters from the 80's, such as Noah Drake, played by the original actor, Rick Springfield, Holly (Emma Samms), and Tristan Rodgers (Scorpio). Now, they have finally got some sense and have decided to throw the fans a major bone and are having Finola come back for a short stint to play Anna Devane. She should air the week of May 8th I think! I've already set my VCR!

And yes, she was on AMC for a bit as Anna and her twin Alex. They had no idea what to do with a character such as this, so it ended with a thump.

Contents of Gift Bags

The show that aired Monday, April 10 at 9pm (eastern time), included a group of sorority sisters. At the end of the show they were all given gift bags and Finola mentioned "swag". I would like to know what was in the bags because I am looking for nice, upscale shower gifts. I believe there was a website mentioned where the items could be purchased but I'm not sure. Can you help me with this one? Thanks.

Thank you for noticing my work on Ms. Hughes! She's a fabulous model. So the best advice i can give you, cause i am on the west coast, is to first make sure your hairstylist is creative and up to date with latest trends and techniques. Also a picture or two of F.H. would help, or show him a taping of the show, and have him examine the cut. It's choppy layers without blunt ends, and a swooping side bang,and not cut with a razor!! its all point cut and sliced, So if he's good he'll totally get it, if you feel that he is a bit unsure, you should to, only trust confident scissors. Even if you have to have a half hour conversation about it, it's better that he completely understands what you want, instead of taking a risk under the knife. So good luck, and hope it rocks, Keep watching the show soon she'll have a new do.It'll debut for G.H. Hope i was helpful.....Mr. Hair

I had to rack my mind to remember where I seen you.
I knew I remembered you from somewhere but could not think where.
Your voice was also so distinct.
The film with John T and you was just great and finally it dawned on me.

You are quite an actress and a dancer. I am surprised you don't do more acting or am I missing something. You made me hate you in that film and that is good acting.
You were beautiful and a great dancer. I am looking to buy the DVD if it is out there.

Also what about dancing with the stars? Maybe it will come back.
I like you in the style program very much but seems you are a little wasted with all the acting talent you have.

Finola and Stayin' Alive

Stayin' Alive was the movie that made me fall in love with Finola! She had those flashing eyes when she and John T. would argue - and that long beautiful hair! What about that accent? The total combination was just perfect. I saw Stayin' Alive in the theaters (yes, I'm showing my age) which made her that much more larger than life! Seeing her now - she's just as beautiful!

Bring Hiw Do I Look to all States

I love watching the show and I know a lot of people who need a makeover. Plus I have always wanted to meet you. I think that if you bring the show to all the states then you would help more people get better looks and you could make more money. Once you have made of just about everyone in Southern California your show will get cancelled. you are so right about wanting to bring how do i look into a different state/states, because I live in Kansas with my mom and believe me when i say that she needs a makeover, and I wanted her to be on the show "how do i look?" but there's no way that we could go to California. So I am all in with you and trying to bring "how do i look?" into some different states. So keep trying to get their attention, and they will most likely listen to you.

PS: where do you live and what state do you want "how do I look?" to move too? I also noticed that you said that your mom needs a make over too, what is wrong with your moms look? I am 14 and want my mom to feel good about her self and to be able to show her personality though her clothes, and to also look her age. My moms look is: dull; boring; not up to date or in style; shows none of her great personality and most of all it's... not fun or exiting.

Also, I'm a nursing mom with a 3 1/2 month old. I love to watch your show "How do I look" when I'm nursing him. I think he likes to watch it too! I must say that you are a natural with style and people, but you were the best in the episode with Ashley, the punk dresser. You were so wonderful with her and really made her feel comfortable.

I haven't looked much on your website, but I love how you dress. Where do you shop and what tips do you have for others to get your style.

I love your show and watch it all the time but I just don't understand what constitutes "style". Some of the stuff is darling and some plain ugly. What makes it "style"? Thank heavens I am 68 years old and don't have to worry about style as I just can't seem to understand it.

I just read on a soap opera website that's very reliable for scoops and spoilers that Finola will be returning to GH later this spring to reprise her role as Anna Devane.

Has anyone heard anything official from Ms. Hughes or know when she will make an official statement regarding this big event that so many fans have been waiting YEARS to see?

That's kind of selfish

I think its a bit selfish for anyone to beg Finola to do something that just couldn't be worked out. Why didn't GH allow enough time to iron out a deal? Is Finola supposed to just stop her life b/c GH finally came a calling after so many years? I think she's busy with her real job and all the other work she does for The Style Network and her family. She has committments to keep to the network that she is under contract with and it's unlikely she can just drop it all b/c GH wanted to work out a deal in a short period of time. Hopefully, she will be able to come back one day, but if she does come back, I hope it's for longer then one day or to play prop to Tristan Rogers and I hope she does it right. It doesn't appear to me that there is any need for her to be part of this Robert Scorpio return.

It was a joke people, geesh! Let's see, she is an actress, mother, wife, and celebrity. I would think it awfully flattering to hear that they might want to see them in a role that she perfected. If she does, great, if she doesn't, oh well, it's her life. Not that GH could use the ratings right about now. WOW! Snippy, snippy, I was just asking and letting my feelings out for a woman who did a lot for me and my life when I was growing up. I will still love Finola and all she does. AS of now, I can't see her since I do not get the Style network. Boo hoo for me.

Sorry to Finola for begging, but I was giving my dear sincere desire to see her again. Untwist your knickers, people! Selfish, hmm...how is it selfish? Isnt' that what publicity is all about, how many soap magazines have wanted feedback as to "what character do you want back??" This is my feedback and it is going directly to Finola and her fan base. Why write fan mail if it's selfish??? Why even be on a fan website if it's selfish??

I agree, Andi....I don't think it was selfish of you (or me???) to tell Ms. Hughes that we would be thrilled to have her return to GH. Maybe she doesn't think anyone would care if she returned or not....then she sees our posts on her website, and she changes her mind about returning.

Stranger things have happened and I think its certainly reasonable that we are allowed to voice our opinions about Anna returning WITH THE REST OF THE SCORPIOS to GH if it works with her schedule.

I don't hold it against Finola for not being able to come back to GH at the moment's notice. As far as the Robin and Anna reunion, it already happened and it was on AMC. It was the best week of that show in the 4 years Finola was on the show. Everyone wanted more at the time and AMC even offered KM more work, but she chose not to accept the offer. Disappointment is the name of the game when you have to deal with people's schedules.

Finola is such a gentle, caring soul and it is this quality that is so outstanding in your show.

Would you please address the 'baby boomers' that have boomed, worked, revolted against sexism, stood up for their rights and are now retired? My post-menopausal body has developed new curves, straight lines were there was once a waist, the scars from all those biking, running and having fun activities tell me when the rain is coming. (Yes, it does rain in Southern California!)

I have saved my money, bought a house, done it all - but cannot for the life of me figure out who I am now and what I look like. My hair is growing out from bleached blonde to grey/silver/white/brown, my taste is stuck in the hey-days of my forties and I need to see more on what works when the left knee doesn't. What is the neckline when the boobies are bob-sledding down the rib-cage? How can I spend my days in flats without looking dumpy? What should I do with all that jewelery? Is there a future for sit-at-a-computer-10 hours a day-suits?

I totally agree with this comment. I think Finola would be absolutely wonderful on "Dancing with the Stars" show. She should really be promoted on that show. It would more than likely then promote her own "How do I look?" show. She would be magnificent!! Plus Finola has a gorgeous figure, so I am sure she would be capable of the ability. Please run this idea her way or to her representive. Great idea!!
