| WHL Player of the Week is forward Aaron Gagnon of the Seattle Thunderbirds.
Gagnon earned player of the week honours by recording six goals and one assist, and a +7 rating in three games during the week of February 19th to February 25th, helping Seattle to three straight wins in that span.
On Wednesday, February 21st, Gagnon notched a goal and an assist to help the Thunderbirds to 5-3 victory over the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes. He was also named the game's 2nd star.
On Saturday, February 24th, Gagnon scored two goals and was named the game's 2nd star as the Thunderbirds beat the U.S. Division-leading Everett Silvertips 4-1 in Seattle.
On Sunday, February 25th, Gagnon scored all three goals for his second hat trick of the season to lead the Thunderbirds to a 3-0 shutout win over the visiting Kelowna Rockets. He was also named the game's 1st star.
Gagnon, a 20-year-old from Armstrong, B.C., was previously named the BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week for the week of November 27th to December 3rd, and was also named the HUSKY WHL Player of the Month for December.
The 5'11, 189-pound centre recently signed a three-year professional contract with the NHL's Dallas Stars.
