On Monday, members of the museum board played in a memorial golf tournament hosted by LACoFD Station 82. Last year, over $8000 was raised for the museum's James O. Page Memorial Building Fund. This year, proceeds are going to help the 1000 firefighters who lost their homes when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana and Mississippi. While we've heard reports that people in that area feel they've been forgotten, we're trying to make sure they're not.
