I can't understand why Johnny kept striking out with girls. I mean, I'm 21 years old, and Johnny Gage is actually my first crush, believe it or not.

Getting back to the topic, maybe the girls thought Johnny wasn't their type. Another theory is maybe they thought of him as too much of a brother, or they felt that he was nice, but didn't want to get into a commitment at the time.

Or maybe what Carly Simon sang in a song called "The Right Thing to Do."
(I know you've had some bad luck with ladies before, they drove you or you drove them crazy.)

That or they saw Chet at one time and thought maybe they liked mustaches better (ala those two models in "Show Biz.")

personally I don't think it was John's looks that got him in trouble, I think it was his attitude towards women. I still have a crush on him but I would probably have the inclination to smack him one if he referred to me a chick or whatever. Of course it was almost years ago.
