I love the episode with Roy and John on a fishing holiday in Santa Rosa County. I wish they would have filmed more episodes with the guys out of uniform and away from the Station. That's why I like "Snakebite", too. It starts out with the guys in their civies.
They all just look so-o-o good in blue jeans
(Heck, they just all look so-o-o good PERIOD! (Except for some of those 'plaid' and 'striped' slacks John Gage came in wearing on occasion
I also loved the way John G. rolled his shirt sleeves up real high on his arms--to show off his biceps.
Anybody else agree? Ross
Yep me too Ross. Welcome to Santa Rosa County is one of my all time fav show as far as the way the guys looked cause they looked sooooooo good in those jeans & western shirts but actually, I could have done with Roy's hat(he he he).
I also loved the eppy "Welcome To Santa Rosa County"...totally love Johnny in jeans...<BEG>...I also liked the um "well worn ones" he was wearing in "The Parade"...along with the "shades" he wore in both those eppys...I agree too, I wish they would of done more eppy's away from the station...course that's where our fan fiction comes in...I guess...smile
Civies add a nice touch. Johnny's shades in Santa Rosa County were very cool. Roy should have left his cowboy hat at home.
But the Bee Gees? Sorry. I just keep flashing back to having to dance the hustle to their music in high school gym class. To this day I can't watch Saturday Night Fever without feeling like I want to run and hide.
I was gonna ask if Santa Rosa county was the one where Roy had that cowboy hat on. At first I didn't know how to take him in that hat. I guess it's because #1 (if I remember correctly) we didn't get to see them in their civies all that often, so the hat just didn't fit in. #2 On the other hand, I think I'd rather have seen him in that cowboy hat then that fishing hat Chet wore in one show. LOL!!
I was just watching "What's a Nice Girl Like You" and I thought the guys looked great in their civies(especially Roy in his black leather jacket). John usually looked good in jeans. I also thought that he looked good when he was wearing his hand knit Icelantic wool sweater(here in Canada they're usually knitted by West Coast natives so we call them Siwash sweaters after the tribe that usually sells them).
It's too bad about Maurice!
