I've just updated my journal with my latest thoughts on the hurricane aftermath and other thoughts. I was going to just type it all here, but I decided this might not be the best forum for it.

Thanks for posting this link to your public entries. I still can't get my mind around the terrible devastation that has taken place along the Gulf. I've been watching some C-Span news coverage, and I just pray that with time there can be recovery for the region. i think your Live Journal is a very good idea. Tig, I hope there will soon be more visible progress on the clean up of the hurricane damage and I hope your brother will at least get the insurance man on the scene. God bless all you guys.

Thanks, fayette. It's funny in a way...I've found myself in various stages of the grief process over my hard drive!! I've been given a glimmer of hope, however... a man @ church told me he knows someone that actually repairs them, so I might check it out. I hate to get my hopes up though, and no telling how much it will cost!

Update on family - brother who lost home is still waiting for insurance to come through... mom got her insurance estimate today for her roof & fence and is pleased.

Now everyone (my coworkers) is going crazy already watching the weather channel for updates on Wilma. We are SO jittery here, it's sad.
