In the seven years since MM#1 kissed me, (explained in “emerald’s story” below), I have found almost no information outside of TOW that reflects my life as The Other Woman. My impetus for writing this book is to put EMR reality in the bookstores, available to all who need it and care to read it, by telling true stories of the joys, passion, love, heartaches, addictions and personal transformations that are unique to our lives as Other Women.
To date, I have interviewed eight Other Women. I spent between three and five days with each woman discussing very personal details about her life and relationships. Each interview filled between five and nine hours of tape.
While the body of the book will be based on these interviews (I think), I need more. I need you: your stories, experiences, thoughts, anecdotes and musings. I need your unique lives. EMRs are so different. I want this book to reflect as many of us as possible.
