I'm 18 now, and was the other woman for 10 months while 17 years old (he is 7.5 years my senior). (Yes we were sexually involved but hadn't been for very long before he left W) He left his W, after some vicious and heartbreaking moments, losing huge amounts of personal items, moving out of the house, and started afresh. I have now been with him for 12 months, and have had a great relationship so far. We have both lost many friends, the trust of relatives, blessing of the church, but we are building our lives again, and things are really starting to repair themselves.
I thank my MM for leaving his W for me, and I can tell an interesting story, having survived an extra-marital affair, and ending up happy.
Good luck to those other OW- at 18, I already know how you have felt and what you have been through, and as far as I have experienced, it takes a strong person to hang on through those months where you dont know if he will ever leave her, if he will come and see you...
