I don't believe it, they're at it again...

Those of you who care, and have been following the news will know what I am talking about. Once again, the Democrats have decided to completely ignore a law, so that they can make sure they get their way. It is now quite obvious that Democrats couldn't care less about laws, and only see them as "obstacles" to where they want to get. Now, they did their typical thing of finding a court where there is a liberal majority, so they are assured of winning. They have gotten the New Jersey Supreme Court to allow the Democrats to change their candidate on the ballot, and despite what the Democrats may say, it is only because their candidate was losing, and they couldn't have that. This is not unusual, except that it is only 35 days before the election, and New Jersey law EXPLICITLY states that you cannot change candidates on a ballot no later than 51 days, yet the Democrats have once again found a way around. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

As you know if a Supreme Court says one can do something then they CAN. They are the ones who can overrule a "law".
Rush Limbaugh is a sad joke. He is a paranoid schizophrenic.

To Republicans I am a liberal.
To Democrats I am a conservative.

Sure, if a Supreme Court says they can do something, they can, the point is, if the idiots in that court knew how to interpret a law, they would not have said that the Democrats could do this. However, the fact that 4 of the seven members of the court are Democrat, and two of them even contributed money to one or both of these Democrat senators before, seems to create a conflict of interest in my book. As they have said, the Republicans will take this to the U.S. Supreme Court, and will have a very good case. Not necessarily on the fact that they are breaking New Jersey law by allowing this, but that they are breaking a Federal Law by doing this. The federal law states that absenteee ballots must be mailed to overseas members of the armed forces no later than 35 days before the election. It is now past 35 days before the election, and they have not been mailed. The Republicans will be able to argue the simple fact that the Democrats are "disenfranchising" the overseas voters by doing this, because if they wait longer to mail the ballots, there is a good chance many of the overseas people will not get a chance to vote, because they won't get their ballots in on time. As for Rush Limbaugh, there are many people out there, including me, who do not see him as a "sad joke". I don't see why he should be called this, just because he happens to like to tell the truth. The Democrats hate him because they know what he is saying is true, and it embarasses them. Like he has said before, if what he was saying isn't true, then the Democrats would just be laughing at him, and ignoring him. BUT, they know what he says is true, so they feel the need to complain about him, and try to refute him.

I don't think changing the candidate so late is such a big deal. For one thing they won't necessarily benefit from it. Consider the fact that the newly appointed candidate has less time to get some media exposure than they previous one would have; and I'm sure many democrats will be upset as well. In regards to thier "obvious" reason being that the previous candidate was "losing in the polls"; that doesn't shock me. Sure... it is not a moral reason to change your candidate... It is the wrong reason to change your candidate. However, the republican national commitee is guilty of the same thing on many many many occasions. Don't get me wrong I'm not siding with the democrats... but don't assume them to be worse than repulicans. I assure you they are ALL selfish and they are ALL concerned with money and power and nothing more.

Yes, but...

It doesn't matter what you think, or that they still might lose. The fact is, the law says that it is ILLEGAL. Now, this point is moot now, because the New Jersey Supreme Court in all it's liberalness has allowed this, and the US Supreme Court has declined to take an appeal. Now your point about the Republican National Committee is wrong, because neither party has done anything like this to date. The fact is, the Democrats have a much bigger record of pulling crap like this. Take the 2000 presidential election for example. The fact that Algore got more popular votes MAKES ABSOULTELY NO DIFFERENCE. We have an electoral college, and no matter what some people may think about it, it's what we use, and you can't change that. This isn't the first time a president has won with gettting fewer popular votes. And as for the whole florida thing, the crap the democrats went through to try to find a way to make Algore win didn't work. People say that the Bush really didn't win, the Supreme Court gave the election to him. However, the fact is that after the whole fiasco was over, the Miami Herold went in and did their own count, and Bush won in every scenario, including the one the Democrats were trying to get used. The only way he didn't win Florida was the most liberal way of counting, which included counting dimpled chads and all that BS. The Democrats wanted to try to "guess" the intent of the voter, which is wrong. That's all I'm gonna say about that, but we can discuss this more if you want to.
