Just remember...

Every legitamate copy of Virtual PC sold is another License of Windows sold. Although they will continue to make Virtual PC (for at least a while), you can be almost sure that they will certainly discontinue 98,NT,2000 support and sell XP only versions.

There is no DIRECT evidence that this could be a bad thing.

However, this makes me extremely uncomfortable. There is some obvious association with horrible events that follow the buyout of a great hardware and software companies by M$ (bungie all over again?

M$ now holds many macusers on a tight leash now. Apple now must avoid strategic marketing moves that will now possibly cut off their only asset to their customers that still use some windows tasks (ie: filing taxes, testing websites on multiple platforms).

Worst nightmare: Microsoft discontinues M$ Office for the mac and sells a VPC+Office "bundle" for $1,000

Microsoft has even made their web page and other pages display differently on other browsers other than Explorer..

Their site (or some other site..I'm not sure which..but it's a Microsoft site) runs fucked up when Opera identifies itself as Opera, but runs fine on IE/when Opera id's itself as IE

I use Safari anyway

just need to get a final version
and some colour in that gray ass bar ..choose from different ones, or the current, of course.
