Sorry for my withering reply to Connor or whoever it was on the Outside Scene webpage re his claim that I suck cos I said Limp Bizkit are headlining the second day of Dowload and in fact they aren't.

I just checked out the metalhammer webpage now and it appears they've pulled out after all! I know it's hard to believe it - but I'm wrong on a question of rock fact - albeit only wrong for 4 minutes!!!!!

See below [the moral of this story is Limp Bizkit suck corporate ass and will pull out of a show without a second thought - Audioslave are much better - and Limp Bizkit as a second day headliner could be argued as a bit of a joke in comparison with the first day headliner - Iron Maiden]:

Limp Bizkit Pull Out Of Download
12 May 2003 Limp Bizkit have pulled out of their scheduled appearance at the Download festival on 1st June.

"Due to Limp Bizkit's new album, currently titled 'Panty Sniffer', being delayed and the bands continued recording commitments, they have been forced to pull out of the Download Festival," reads an official press release. "Lead singer Fred Durst said, "Now there will be no more fuckin' around!! We are in the vocal stage on the new shit!! We will have a single out before the Summer Sanitarium tour and our new album PANTY SNIFFER will drop, FOR SURE, the first week in September!!!!!! Sometimes you just have to go with the flow of creativity and we're doing just fucking that!! I love you and kiss my ass!!" Limp Bizkit will return to the UK in the fall to debut tracks live from their new album, now set for release on September 8th.

The festival's promoter, Clear Channel Entertainment, have said, "While we are disappointed to lose Limp Bizkit on Sunday at Download we still know that fans are up for the first ever full blown multi-day, multi stage rock festival at Donington."

Due to no suitable Bizkit replacement being available, Hammer understands Audioslave will be upgraded to headliners."

So Limp Bizkit are wankers, dont care about fans, and is hardly a great loss to the festival becuase they are the second worst band behind Spineshank :)
The only ones I feel sorry for are the young kids who parted with lots of money to see Durst sniff panties.

Maiden should headline both days!!!!!!!!!!!
