Actually, I picked the information from Marcos Ocaña's book, "Bruce Lee - The Man Behind the Legend" (known in Spain as "Bruce Lee - El Hombre Detrás de La leyenda", and "Bruce Lee - L´Homme Derrière La Légende" in France), and I have the VHS tape of "The Lost Interview". So I recalled that Bruce does mention the series, which was originally entitled "The Warrior", later retitled "Kung Fu" and starring David Carradine. That was Lee's way to refer, with certain subtlety, that he had been rejected from being the star in that show.
