As some of you have already heard, I just put the order in for my new boat! They're building it to spec starting from the factory, so it'll be late-April before she's in and ready to fish, but needless to say, I'm getting pretty excited.

The new boat will be a 2006 Lund Mr. Pike 17 w/115 Mercury Optimax on the back, and pretty-much rigged to my hearts desire.

Best estimate at the moment would put me to late next week. Oh the pain... I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it.

According to dealer, my boat is finished in the factory and ready to ship, but they typically schedule the shipping of 4-6 boats together. One of the other boats that was in my "load" had a burr in the paint job and had to go back to the finishing job... so that pushed off shipment for a couple of days.

Should know on Monday if they've shipped or not. If yes, could be looking at Thursday/Friday of next week. If no... I'm gonna be one heck of a crazy bastard, that's for sure!

The new boat is here! Picked it up May 10th. It's awesome! Been out twice now.... still awesome!

I don't have much for pictures yet. But hear's a few pictures we snapped (in my Garage) on Thursday.

The boat looks great. If I ever get out to your area I expect a ride. Wishing you luck and catch plenty of good fishing in the future.

Finally got registation numbers from the DNR... so I had the lettering done and took a few pictures when it was finished.
