Rattle canned it gloss black until I could put a few miles on and work the kinks out, that was about two years ago. I Borrowed some blue vinyl tape and did the silver flames last fall, after a practice job on my beer fridge (silver w/red flames) the week before.
It'll get "final" paint someday, but no reason to now as it's just not right to take apart a running Panhead. I'll tear it down the next time I break something big, grind down the welds and pull out the HVLP gun.
