you said makes sense. I just went through trying to get my rear drum brake working with DOT 3 (what the manual said to use) only to realize I have an updated/modern setup that requires DOT 5. I have a basterdized bike and I'm still getting to know some of the parts. Now I know and now I have brake pressure.
