anybody here know anything about Virago trannys???

what i'm trying to find out, is if the '82 750 Virago used the same internal tranny parts as the '82 920 Virago.......

Mine (the 920) is developing the habit of popping out of 3rd gear back into 2nd, and now finds a false nuetral(sp?) in every gear if i get into the accelerator hard

A buddy has a seized '82 virago 750....says the tranny is good, but before i rip everything apart i figured i'd ask........
