I dig your bike's style. There is something to be said about the new school look also. I have already done a coulpe that were more new school, and wanted to go nostalgic/retro with this one.
If you are going to color your wheels.... The cheap way is to use brake coating instead of paint. It is an epoxy that is more durable than paint, but not as expensive as powdercoat. You can get it through Eastwood.
