Think i may have the main part of these ready to mock up, using the centerstand mounts and the original front mount the old highway pegs were mounted to. Should be tacking things together tomorrow afternoon ifin everything goes smooth with changing the balljoints on my 1-ton.............
anywhos, last night while i was bending some 1/2" steel rod (using that for now in the "rough" forward setup) i got to thinking about the foot levers, and how to make them pivot/rock smoothly and not bind.............then i gots to wonderin how the hell i could make up the crossbar (where the feet will be) and having everything work nice and smooth...............any idears?
I was thinking of brass/bronze bushings, made to fit the pedal rods (that make sense?) but then started thinkin of how the hell i would keep the pedals/rods centered in one spot on the crossbar.............
then i said fug it, and came in the house
Anywhos, if you or anybody else have any ideas, i'd sure like to hear em!!
