....alternator. Honda's fuel system is alternator dependent. If the alt starts throwing out weird voltages it affects the fuel system - shower down affect. Mostly noticeable on the idle(also explains headlights). Probably need a new one - which will set youi back 110, and a little advice. Alt is in the rear of the engine, you will need to pry the bottom of the engine forward 1.5 inches inorder to remove.
