Not big on promoting too strongly. As my health sucks, I don't want to be in a 10 hour a day commitment. I want to start slow and casual and take in work with word of mouth. I'm also trying to learn what people think now adays. I've always been cheap and either did it myself or bought on sale and modified. The coin people drop now kind of boggles my mind. I'm still in the 1992 mind set, and thought prices were outlandish then. Things are almost silly compared to then now. Natually there are those that think the material is free, shops don't need electricity, and end mills never wear out. Labor should be less than minimum an hour and shipping should be free. Hmmmm, I'm one of those consumers. Going to be a real wake up call now that I'm in these new shoes. Going to try to find a middle a ground.
I didn't and probably won't post the news at BT. It isn't like I have a hard on against them, it's just I've seen you can get swamped with both kinds of consumers. And if my health slows me down, I DO NOT want a bunch of belly aching whiners cluttering up the site. I hate drama and could see things being all stupid with Eman deleting posts if he thouigght I was being maligned wrongly, having his or my credibility questioned.... Best to just avoid that scene. If I ever do BT, I'll have a single product, so many of them, it listed that only so many are available, and a set price. Hard to squable with there aren't anymore, sorry. If made before hand my health don't clutter up the business.
Other boards that know me/met me, etc, I've posted to. Quite a few I owe favors to and will find it satisfying giving them deals. And they are patient. LOL When doing real deals, friends are extremely patient.` (Rowdy it's on the list, honest.)
