Heres the story...
When i bought my front end, the "hidden" axle was too short--about 7/8". So, I had Buck simply make me a longer end (the shorter half in the below diagram)
I've since traded that front end, the trees, etc for a springer.
The axle, which is a "hidden" type cannot be bought, and went MIA during shipping.... (a whole new meaning to a "hidden axle" it seems...
But!!!, I found the old end I had, and now I just need the axle to be longer this time to mate up with what Buck fixed in the first place, and will be fine as long as the axle half is long enough...
Can I burden you to turn me up an axle, and I'll get you the overall length ASAP, to match this end I have? the OD dims and the stepped part needs to match this end I have is all.. and e me your cost if you can/will do this.
I need to take care of this guy and this deal, so I'm looking for someone who can get it done fairly quick.
I got the springer, and have it on, and he's out an axle until I can hook him up and as the deal was mine, I'd really like to square up with him...
Check this diagram, and thanks. If your busy, let me know so I can try and find another.
When you feel no one cares if you're even alive, try missing a couple car payments...

Yeah, I asked him. Lee's on a milling machine now, and
by Rowdy (no login)
doesn't have the tooling on the one he has access to as its an engine lathe w/o thread cutting gears---
I'd sure appreciate it if you could, but also know how things stack up too..
I don't really know of who else could to look at this point...

NE1 interested drop me a line. I'm asking $3600.00. But I'll take offers. Shipping to the Lower 48 would be around $150. I'm in Eastern Pa.

got the kicker pedal in the mail this morning. what a work of art!!!!!!!! it turned out fantastic. i cant believe i got a pedal made wich such quality workmanship for such a reasonable price. i studied kick start pedals from alot of different sources and i can say without a doubt that no other can come close to make a pedal of such quality. i will get the word out that if you need a pedal made then bob's the man for the job. i cant belive how fast i got it also. i got it 2 days after bob mailed it.

After playing with my Supermax enough to make parts at a good rate, I was approached by a company that needs short run prototype venders and they aren't to be found in our area. One man shops have gone extinct. Welcome into the world, "GWA Machine" (soon to be LLC). GWA stands for Gimps With Attitude. I was only going to play at machining bike parts for a few friends. My experience is fifteen years as a machinist and thenk T&D in a Tool Room. Modine didn't believe in specialization so we had to know all the machines. Last time I machined for money was early 93 when I retired. Anyhow, my hobby is now a business. If you need any three axis mill work, let me know. I'm assuming you just do wire work and some lathe work, from your kicker pedals and other posts. I'm not trying to take your work (different areas of CNC). If that is the case and you also do CNC milling, feel free to delete this post.

Not big on promoting too strongly. As my health sucks, I don't want to be in a 10 hour a day commitment. I want to start slow and casual and take in work with word of mouth. I'm also trying to learn what people think now adays. I've always been cheap and either did it myself or bought on sale and modified. The coin people drop now kind of boggles my mind. I'm still in the 1992 mind set, and thought prices were outlandish then. Things are almost silly compared to then now. Natually there are those that think the material is free, shops don't need electricity, and end mills never wear out. Labor should be less than minimum an hour and shipping should be free. Hmmmm, I'm one of those consumers. Going to be a real wake up call now that I'm in these new shoes. Going to try to find a middle a ground.
I didn't and probably won't post the news at BT. It isn't like I have a hard on against them, it's just I've seen you can get swamped with both kinds of consumers. And if my health slows me down, I DO NOT want a bunch of belly aching whiners cluttering up the site. I hate drama and could see things being all stupid with Eman deleting posts if he thouigght I was being maligned wrongly, having his or my credibility questioned.... Best to just avoid that scene. If I ever do BT, I'll have a single product, so many of them, it listed that only so many are available, and a set price. Hard to squable with there aren't anymore, sorry. If made before hand my health don't clutter up the business.
Other boards that know me/met me, etc, I've posted to. Quite a few I owe favors to and will find it satisfying giving them deals. And they are patient. LOL When doing real deals, friends are extremely patient.` (Rowdy it's on the list, honest.)

If you need web space, let me know. I can give you a site or just a folder on one of mine which you can point a tinyurl at (nevermind the poor grammer there..... it's early)
Of the existing hd shaft. Not a big deal. The triumph ends where it bolts to the arm is thinner and the angle is different on the end. Also the triump uses a ball and spring detent to keep it locked in.I can modify yours if you want to send it to me.

Made these awhile back. They are cnc cut.Maybe someone can use them. They dont have a thru hole in them but you could put one in and use them for pegs or make kickers out of them.I'm doing the wire cut ones still so i really dont have time to finish these. They are alum 3/4 thick x2.5 x3x5.I'll take 35 ea. for them and i have about 8 left.

I have trouble e-mailing through yahoo. Anyway----I need a custom kicker pedal for a cb750---more-so the arm is the problem---they don't have the cutout in the arm like an HD does where the pedal can just be bolted in. As far as the pedal--I like the brass knuckles or the iron cross, but need the arm to make it work too

At lincoln and miller and hobart.I talked to the salesman at the local welding supply(oemeyer)and found out that the hobart ironman 210,and the millermatic 210 are basicly the same machine both made by illinois tool works right here in ohio. They both go down the same line. The hobart doesn't have some of the bells and whistles as the miller but cost about
400 less. The salesman told me side by side there is very little difference.
Tractor supply has the hobart ironman for 1036 bucks so i'm probably going to get one this week.Supposedly its a better machine for the money than a
lincoln.longer duty cycle and all that.
Thanks for the imput.

It's one of the many that were made by Century (which was probably made by someone else anyway). My Snap-On was also a Century. I bought this one used around 1990. Last year, I had to replace the control transformer. Other than that, and the times people ran over the torch end with a car or truck, it has cost me nothing but gas, wire and tips for over 15 years. I would still like to have a Miller someday....
anyone got a used evo frame straight not bent they can donate or sell cheap?
if in south jersey i can pick up will drive up to 5 hours if you can help
no title no problem need it for a cheap bike build for summer
