trying to get his POS Packard Bell computer workin. Those Packards are junk after about 2 years. For some reason they just quite working after some time. They're great package deals when ya buy 'em, and they come with all the bells and whistles for a great price, but they don't last long. They gotta be rebuilt every so often. . . kinda like a Harley. I went through two of them in 5 years. Even the monitors are junk.
Later,

...so my brain processes are slower. But look at the cards that are displayed the second time closely. Notice any differences between them and the cards you were to choose from? Note he only shows the second set briefly, and your focused on finding your card. The other cards you just figure are the same because of color and general shape. And the quick glance doesn't provide time for analyzation. I'm pretty sure none of the first set are found in the second set.....

I need one of you guys livin` outside of "OHIO" as everyone knows we`re the toughest state, to help me. I need a person to let me send them a Bill of sale get a outa state title made and send to me to get a OHIO title made off of it. I had my brother(His sons Sporty) to run the #s at the local police station which came back fine just had lost title,it would be worth some parts or $$....anyone?? Mark

There is a title company in Alabamer I believe that can help. Also heard there's one in New York now tha'll do that same exact thing. I was going to look into them as that I need a title for the Fairlane.

But I like the craftsmanship of the bars above.
I'm gonna run a variation of the straight rod with levers. My straight bar will be far from straight. I plan to use our new CNC servo bender at work and bend a really abstract unsymmetrical bar and levers.

A few years ago I saw a Triumph with a kick ass set of forwards, of course the owner had bought the bike with them on and was clueless as to their origin, there was no identifying marks on them.
Basically, they had a about a 1 3/4" tube coming off the motor mount to a plate. On the plate was a seperate brake/shifter pedal and footrest, similar to forward control available of every other bike. It just looked good, and nothing like the el cheapo BCS setup, which everyone seems to copy (although I'm sure they are not original, and eveyone else's quality HAS to be better than those).
The 'plate' approach would also lend itself to putting a master cylinder on if one were inclined to run juice rear brakes (a good idea if one is contemplating no front brake).
I could make some, but then they'd look like I made them, and that's probably not good.

In an eariler post blackjack had a good point that got me thinking about not mounting directly to the engine mounts, for fear of laying the bike down and doing damage to the cases. But having the master cylinder somewhere other than the bars is good to.thanks for the imput.and pics would be cool too.

....of the mounts on the frame. That way in case of an accident it would probably shear the bolt, o rsnap instead of damaging the cases.
That's the idea I had before I shit canned it because I want to ride low like a creeping gorilla on the beezer. Was gonna weld it with smaller steel tubing in a latticing efffect for a different look, instead of the plate. Same idea though....
