I'm looking to find a cheap project 4 wheeler or dirtbike. Fixer-upper whatever. I don't have a whole lot of bike stuff on hand, but I do have some good parts for hot rods and such. Would consider paying a little on top of a trade, but not much. If you have any interest in any of the stuff below, let me know.
Small Block Chevy Engine, 350ci. (disassembled at the moment) Said to be out of a corvette. 2 bolt main. Has new cam bearings, needs a hone and main bearings and rod bearings. 4bbl manifold.
If it's a 2 bolt main, it didn't come from a Corvette. Every 350 ever sold "came from a Vette" according to the guy trying to sell it to you.
What year 350? I need a 1985-up 1st gen 350. 2 or 4 bolt main doesn't really concern me, it's a temporary replacement while I rebuild the engine in my van.
Engine is an early 70's I believe. Guy that pulled it, did pull it from a vette. I was skeptical it was original that's why I said "said to be". In any event it is what it is. Valve cover bolt holes are straight across, not staggered. Has new cam bearings and freeze plugs. Needs a hone and should be ready to reassemble.

Nothing new there, it happens all the time. I was referring to the the guy who told you it was from a Vette. I didn't want you to think I thought you were wrongly telling me it was from a Vette....... I'm sure it was a replacement engine as you suspected.
In any case, I found a replacement locally which saves alot of shipping hassles. I'm just waiting on the guy to pull it from a van.
Thanks.

Everything OK? Haven't seen or heard anything here in awhile....
I hope it's just that you're too busy making money...........
Speaking of which, I need a price on a kicker pedal. I can't go into details here because the person it's for might see it here....if you follow......(gift)
I also just noticed your pedal pic is missing down below. I didn't realize it was the one from my site. I moved that site to a folder insode my main site and deleted most of the content on it. I'll put that picture back up though so you don't have the dreaded red "X" down there.
Company i work for stuck me on days,6 days a week, helping to set up a new plant.Haven't really had time to do much.I have a pretty cool pedal i made up for a guy that didn't want and i will give you a deal on it if you want.
I'll shoot you an email with a pic...thanks Ripper..

So if you sent it already, I never got it. I don't know what the deal is, but some people tell me they keep getting e-mails back undeliverable or they seem to be blocked for some reason. I have over 20 e-mail addresses on the same server and only mine seems to be having this problem. I may have to change servers, again...... 3rd time this year if I do.
I never did get that e-mail. I understand completely though.
I do need a specific pedal, but it won't be for awhile now. It was going to be a Christmas gift for someone, but I knew you were going through some personal stuff so I didn't want to push you. It can wait. Trust me.......
Hey Bob. I was sent here by Fab-Kevin. I need a set of trees made. Can you do raked trees? If not, then I might need a new neck machined. I sent you an email. Let me know. My project is stalled on this part, man, and I'm gettin desperate! Thanks.

I hope you're not just installing raked trees to make your bike a "chopper".......
Raked trees are made for one purpose...correcting a trail problem caused by raking a neck. They are not made to create a rake for your otherwise stock bike.

Nice work! Now I know who to come to when I get started on my project. I need something similar. By the way, those risers sure look familiar. Keep up the great work!

Taking a break from the bike for a little while. Picked up a new project...1936 Chevy Pickup. I will be hot rodding this one. It's gonna be low brow without a ton of cash invested... just a little thrasher. I'm needing some parts, and know that some of you guys also dabble in the 4 wheel buggys. I've got a bunch of SBC chevy stuff to trade, some olds 455 stuff. I have a few bike things left also. Or Cash. I'm in need of the following stuff. Let me know if you've got anything.
GM 10 or 12 bolt rearend, complete hub to hub
Drop axle or frontend (a la suicide style)
1920's or 1930's pickup bed (any make)
bucket seats or a small bench seat (any make)
20's or 30's grill and grill shell (any make)
Chevy 350 go fast parts
Drop me an email if you think you might be able to help me out with any of this stuff. Thanks.
