Roger hopes that someday Esther will change her mind and come back to him, but he never sees her after that, he says:
" even to the day of my wedding, XXX never come back! I never see XXXX again. However, she has given me a very precious present, that is, 'one should never take people around him/her for granted especially your loved ones but one should value what he/she has right now' . even though we did not end up together, but everynight when I see those stars, it reminds me of my relationship with XXX, and that in a significant period of our life, we HAD LOVED each other SO DEARLY!~ "
