I'm the one who translated the article. I'm terribly sorry for creating such a mess! Sorry Nikki and all Esther's fans. Jess doesn't mean anything bad at all.

Jess didn't say those words, I translated it. I must confess my english aint that superb or what. And I must take back the word "domineering". From my understanding, Jess meant "it is rare in hongkong for a female lead to be the main character (as in the very important lead). But since that point in time, esther kwan had had that privilege. Now she (jess) is given that chance, but she never sought for the reason why she is given it, and she respect the producer's decision."

i never thought of the word domineering as having a bad connotation. So i am utterly sorry for this. btw I'm also an esther fan myself. And these words aint said by Jess, it's my own interpretation.[:-|]Sorry
