Mary (quan yi feng), adrian's wife, hired a PI to investigate Adrian to see whether he had a mistress. She decided to help Kara (esther) check up on stanley (guo liang) too. The PI took photos of stanley and his son and so Mary found out. Mary told kara but she did not believe her at first.. but after she thought about it, she knew it was true but tried not to believe it. Then Stanley decided to tell Kara about his son but Kara tried to make him change the topic by switching on the television and talking about other things. In the end he did say it and Kara was heart-broken.
