No good sis!!)

I knew it's that problem again.. haiz sis.. what can i say la~.. I want to chat w/ u recently on ICQ la~ but CANNOT.. my computer is just so sick .. my DSL connection iddn't go right so i have to stick w/ Dial-up, .. the comp is just so slow ar.. cannot do anything .. maybe that is a warning for me to do a MAJOR UPgrades..

hehe. hey guys.. i was surfing the net cuz i am kinda bored @ work .. but anyhow.. i am excited because there is this series coming out called LOVE IS A MIRACLE "Rb " . iT'S AN aTV production starring Amy Chan Siu Man and Steven Ma (not the STeven Ma of TVb)... Besides Essie n Bobby whose I consider the ALL TIME GOLDEN COUPLE ON SCREEN, Amy Chan n STeven Ma is my second favorite.. they are sooooo awesome.. i don't know if u guys have seen some of the late 90s ATV productions called "FATED love" n "the good old days" starring these two.. if you haven't yet.. you guys HAVE TO WATCH it.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these two series.. they're the best ATV productions in the late 90 i have seen.. i love them sooooo much n this couple just makes the show even more interesting...

Well.. anyhow.. i am just excited that they are finally reunited to film another series together called LOVE IS A MIRACLE .. will be air in HK soon n will be released overseas very soon too... From the past rumors, heard that Steven n Amy do not get along behind the screens despite the fact that they are sooooooooo hot on screens.. n said thatthey WILL NEVER have a sereis togetheragain.. but this is really a MIRACLE.. seeeeeee.. nothing is IMPOSSIBLE!!!.. I hope Essie n Bobby will film a series again someday... like this golden couple too... HOpefully it can be AR 5 , then i can be soooooooo cool!!!!!!1

sorry for the off topic again.. but i was too excited about this series. Personally, I like to watch all kinds of productions because I want to see a varities of shows out there. TVB is good but then, there are many other productions that are equally as good. ATV have had many good productions in the past and recent years and i think it doesn't hurt to give it a try, something refresh to watch you know?!

Nick Cheung seeks different performance perspectives

You can never just look at things from the surface. A year ago when Nick Cheung cut down his productions on the movie scene, it was widely thought that his little comedic characters were no longer popular with the audience. Later when he returned to TVB to film series, it seemed to be confirmed that he was no longer of use in the movie industry, but in fact, he was merely biding his time and waiting for an opportunity. He did not want to keep doing the same type of character and was willing to make the cruel detachment. In his love life, he has lived with Esther Kwan for many years and after their marriage at the end of last year, it is thought that they are just gaining the titles with no other changes, but he can say to everyone with great definition that his feelings towards his wife are different after their wedding because they love each other even more now!

After a long rest, when it was announced that Nick would be taking a role in Johnnie To's movie "Breaking News" (Dai Si Geen) he admitted that he had been waiting a long time for this opportunity. Working with To for the first time, on the surface it seems that this is due to his new management company being the main investor in the new film, but Nick has had other chances to work with To in the past, but he had to turn them down due to clashes in his schedule. As well as being serious in his work, To has also given Nick a greater insight into him after this co-operation. "His requirements are very detailed, I never would have thought him to be so clear about the attitudes of the actors and this was a great partnership experience. At first, we had to slowly adapt as this was the first time working together, but when we finished, it was very satisfying to achieve what we had strived for and to gain the recognition for this makes me very happy."

The recognition that Nick refers to is for the movie to have been selected to be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. However, despite the honour, he is not the first male lead, but Nick has a different insight into this: "From my perspective, any part in the show is a main role. You cannot let a ranking affect your performance in the show. I feel that to make a good production, you should not think about these pointless things and whether or not I am the male lead, i will still do my best. If you give me a show to do on my own, it would be meaningless if it was no good. I only seeks a good show and to do my best in the show."

Nick has his own principles in accepting film scripts and in television series, he also has a choice. From returning to TVB to film "Ups and Downs in the Sea of Love" to this year's "Wandering Hero Medics" he has always calculated the freshness of his characters. "My demands for film and television are no different, if not, then I cannot satisfy myself because I am always looking to play many different characters."

With the suggestion that he has fallen from the peak to the lowest point when he returne to TVB, Nick responds rather strongly, proving he is very agitated by this remark. "If you made me film twenty movies if the same genre in a year, then no matter how high you are, you will be unhappy. I know what I am doing and to turn down so many offers, it is because I want to make the films that I want to. Even if 'Breaking News' takes me to a new movie high, I will still make TV series, provided the script and the character are right."

Being mistaken by the outside in the pursuit of his ambitions, Nick took on the 'ostrich' tactic [Em: burying his head in the sand and hiding away] but this period of time was hard to bear. He knows that his interaction with other people was not the best as he does not like socialising, so he had prepared for the worst that no-one would offer him any more work. With any less determination or confidence to place his career on the line like this, he would have been sent back to square one. "In the past, I didn't have the choice and made one show after another without stopping and I didn't know what I wanted to do. Doing the same type of film time after time made me very tired and when one gets tired, then one needs to rest. At the time I felt that I couldn't carry on and I knew I had to start to choose what direction I wanted to go in. I had no support and no guarantees that I could do anything, so I feel that I was very brave."

Nick started out in the movies, but jumping between the big screen and the little screen over the years, for him it is all still acting and so it has had little change on his life and work. The only change that has affected him is that taken place since he got married. Of course, marriage is an important event in life, but it should be that their lives should carry on in the same way as before their wedding. So what has changed for them?

"The feeling is different, in the past as boyfriend and girlfriend, there was still a lot of space to move, but now I have a wife and I am a husband and in comparison, I love my wife a lot more." As he says this, Nick bursts out laughing because he is happy that such as chauvinist as himself can speak about the love for his wife so openly. He laughs a little awkwardly, but with the feeling of fortune. "It's true, in the past I didn't love her as much. I don't know why, after we got married, I really love her more and this feeling is very real."

I haven't tryt to d/l so i don't know.. but I think MPEG is a format that can be played by Window Media player ar.. i am quite sure though.. maybe it depends on what WMPlayer version that you have too..

MPEG is a larger file version of WMVideo, WMV is a compressed version of MPEG. So you should be able to see it.. I normally don't like to save clips under MPEG because it is just too large.. that's why most our club clips that i uploaded are under WMV cuz they're smaller n easier to view..

did you try to right click n save it as TARget first... try saving it first then watch it.. maybe that would help

did you go the main page of EKIFC video clip page .. once you are in.. you should get to the main index page .. where i have the intro thing.. @ the bottom, i give the direct URL to the videoclip storage site ar.. just click on that because i haven't find a server to load the clips officially on yet. so this is temporary.. DON'T GO TO THE VIDEO CLIP OR MUSIC SUBMENU cuz you wont be able to d/l anything..

yah.. i love the gameshow too.. it's so funny!!! hehe.. i like the musical chair one.. did you see how Essie just KNOCK WONG hei off his chair.. how funny.. i cannot stop laughing ar.. i have alot more shows but don't have time to load yet.. so sad.. my comp is still not fixed n my DSL connection cannot be installed fully because i have some trouble with the network provider ... hopefully, i can get my comp back soon.. i miss it so much! cannot do anything w/o it you know?!

some old news from china fans club

In spite of the fact that she hads nothing to promote, Esther Kwan Wing-Ho attended two events yesterday. First, she was a guest model at a Christmas fashions fashion show. Second, she attended a Christmas event for children (right). Seizing upon the circumstance of Kwan being surrounded by children, reporters asked her if she plans to have any herself in the future. In response, Kwan joked: "I`ve been thinking about it these past two years but all along my boyfriend (Nick Cheung Ka-Fai) has been so busy we haven`t had time. I`m going to wait until I can`t wait any longer. Maybe then I`ll find another guy to help me out!"

Kwan went on to say: "Seriously, I will definitely have a child someday but not in the next year or two. Ka-Fai is so busy and I want to make some more money first. I want to make sure that I can provide my child with a stable life first. I have started preparing by reading books about child psychology. Also, who knows, someday I might run a business that involves kids."


haha...i find the part "I`m going to wait until I can`t wait any longer. Maybe then I`ll find another guy to help me out!" toooooooo funnie! ^^

NO ar.... i normally go online once a weekend also because that is when i have alot of times to do updates for the club forum, .. but recently, i had the virus thing n so ... i couldn't go online from home @ all for the past month.. haizzzzzzzz... so yep! once my comp is fixed n upgraded, i will go online as usual.

Yes, I live in a foreign country overseas ar.. hehehe... education is always important so finish that before you want to do anything else. yep! i love working for the goverment too.. really cool, relax n stable! hehehe . yes... back

hehe.. yes.. i am back.. I did use my weekend wisely but now i feel so fatique. I had only 1 hour of sleep on saturday night. Friday i went shopping the whole day la because it's MOther's day , so i went to buy stuffs for my mom, came home n baked 2 cakes for Saturday night party. Then saturday, did some shoppings, came back n install the stuffs that i bought for mum, cook another dish for the party n head over to the party. AFter the party, i went to clubbing, dance dance dance.. til i drop!!!! One of my gf really dropped cuz she was so drunk! ahahhaha.. anyhow, so i was out all night long til 3 or 4 la~ then couldn't sleep, sunday wake up @ 8 to go temple cuz i am on my duty for service... it was a busy weekend la~ .. but was fun !

no,.. i didn't do the email yet because i have tocheck for the usernames n password to get in the estherkwan.com email server.. silly me, i put it some where n couldn't remember the password!!!!! GRRRRRR.. BUT YAH.. i'll do it for you once i find out... okay?!... maybe i'll do it @ once when i update this club too once my computer is running again ...

anyhow.. heheh.. yah.. it's always like this. quiet moments... seems like i am the only fan YEAR-AROUND that blah blah alot!!!!!! hehehe.. i was gonna post some pictures yesterday but was so busy @ work so couldn't do it! sorry.. lucky Warrior did post something la~ That is nice of her

Angel could have message all of us to let us know about the function info.. so don't worry.. when there is a function Angel willl let us know ar.. luckySG fans ar... so happy for you gals.. but i am sure maybe sseing essie during her filming is okay too la~ i don't think Essie mind la~.. as long as don't make too much disruptions to her filming then that's fine.. essie is the easy type.. she likes her fans so she wouldn't mind.. hehehe :D ... but if you guys do meet up n all go, make sure stay together n be organized la~.. so that it saves more time for Essie to see everyone @ once you know.. ?!

but yes.. i agree w/ you melissa.. seeing her @ function is cooler.. there are games to play w/ her maybe .. n angel may arrange a more special gathering for u gals ESPECIALLY to sit n chat w/ essie.. so yep!!!!!!1.. GOSHHHHHH.. HOW I WISH I CAN BE IN sg now..

Garnier Nutrisse is the hair color product Essie have been shooting advertisement for ... I think i have posted the advertisements alot .. is this the one you said airing in TW now?!





because this commercial has been airing all over: singapore, Malaysia (think), alot in China ..

there is also a videclip of teh commercial in English. Go the EKIFC video download page we have, log in the storage site i give in the main page.. n scroll to the Garnier_nutrisse.wmv, right click n save target as .. you'll see the clip!!! hehe :D Essie looks really nice in the commercial

u didn't do anything wrong.. it's not an old advertisement.. it's NEW AR.. i think this is the most recent Ads essie is doing n She is still doing .. like you just told us that the commercial is airing in TW.. i didn't know that it also air in TW ar.. i thought only in CN n SG.. wow!!!!!!.. that's cool.. it's everywhere.. thx for your info ar..

feel free to blah blah to us about anything you finds on ESsie.. old or new.. we don't care hehe .. love to read Essie's stuffs anyway!

I know essie is still contracted w/ Lo HOng Ka to be their spokesperson esp. in Malaysia n SG ... but not sureif she has been shooting any NEW commercial for it yet.. the recent ones she did are GARNIER NUTRISSE n MONALISA BRIDAL SHOP ads
