On June 25th 1981 six children saw a brilliant light on a hill just outside Medjugorje. Were the children seeing an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary or was this just an elaborate plot by certain Franciscan priests. Did they manipulate the six children to gain power, money and to create a new religion, a sect to divide the Catholic Church?But a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand.
In 1997, Network 5 went undercover and infiltrated groups of these Medjugorje followers. They later joined forces with E. Michael Jones, an American journalist, who has been investigating Medjugorje for the last 10 years. Since this investigation both E. Michael Jones and Network 5 have received many death threats which come directly and indirectly from promoters of Medjugorje.

Was it a callous and calculated hoax perpetrated by corrupt elements within the Franciscan order?
In the face of the evidence against the validity of Medjugorje why does it still have such vehement support?
